Stampin'

Using an old rubber eraser I cut a ‘leaf’ stamp and had a good time multiplying the image into an autumnal bush…
I love these silly wee craft sessions!
Shrinky dinky...

I have been playing around with this incredible shrinking plastic.
Such fun! It’s like watching a bit of magic, peering through my oven door as drawings shrink to less than half their size and then harden to become these fab little trinkets.
Day for it...
Pair of pears...

Look what a nice couple I found amongst my groceries this morning.
Stepping up...

I treated myself to a gorgeous book on artist Vilhelm Hammershøi, it makes the perfect autumn afternoon browsing book.
It’s also rather inspiring and I can feel the urge to paint starting to brew in my fingertips again.
Tickle tail...

This little rascal will be Estelle’s new friend.
A mischievous creature hell bent on tickling any-one or any-thing that comes accros his path (including plaster feet it seems) with his extra long striped rattle tail.
Sure to be enjoyed by a cute baby girl.
He was a commisioned pussycat to accompany this squeaky owl which I made for Estelle’s older brother Seth.

Taking it inside...

The tomato plants did not enjoy a wet Scottish summer, so I’m hoping these may still ripen on a sunny sill.

Autumn is here, it’s time to take things inside and get cosy for winter. The town is starting to smell of coal fires in the evenings and I’m starting to have mashed potato cravings.
Hmmm!
