A potato farm nearby has these lovely crates with Lapwings printed on them.
I couldn’t resist buying this wonky little table from an ‘Antique’ shop. I quickly sanded it and put a base-coat of paint on it to hide it’s £3,- look… I’m currently contemplating which colour to paint it… Hmm, bright red?
The bare bunch of twigs I got from some landscape gardeners (after politely inquiring about some cuttings for the bare plot of land I call the back garden…whilst pointing to their pick up truck which contained towering pile of off-cuts.) has erupted into a big ball of beautiful yellow flowers.
I’m hoping the twigs will get some roots so I can plant them after they stop brightening up the living-room…
Though I have no idea what kind of plant it is.

Ana Mo Shoshin says:
I think that the flowers are Forthysia. A beautiful bright plant that sprouts vibrent yellow flowers before it blooms delicate lime green leaves later in the season. I don’t know if it will root. But they are great to keep in your yard.
