I have enrolled to follow a set of lectures on ‘Nature and Art’, which is fortuitously held in a grand old lecture theatre in the middle of one of Amsterdam’s greatest institutions ‘Natura Artis Magistra‘.
It has been well over a decade since I attended any such thing, but found it easy to slip back into ‘the taking notes and doodling whilst paying close attention to a fascinating monologue richly illustrated with slides’ mode.
What a treat it will be to go to the zoo each week and meander past some of my favourite creatures after class!
