Happy birthday Phienephie!
This cat is on it’s way to your lap.

I was planning on making a different kind of creature altogether but halfway through it started turning into a frightened chihuahua… What can you do? My own fault for not planning these things a bit more carefully before I start sewing.

This is the expression Maurice got when I told him he was going to be a present for Sueann…He was in love before he even met her.

Bebop is another commissioned soft toy. The brief for this was ‘cat’.
This funky creature is for a little girl who’s birthday is coming up so I decided ‘pink and flowery’ (Well you gotta keep those time-honoured stereotypes going…).
I especially enjoyed making the stripy tail…
Mr. Rochester has become an uncle and asked me to make a bunny for his nephew Arthur. He came up with a base design and gave me free reign over materials etc… (What fun to collaborate!)
Slim the bunny comes with his own draw-string bag and has giant ears excellent for playing peekaboo…
(I named the bunny Slim because he came out a lot less squat than I had intended, and Slim also means ‘clever’ in Dutch, which this bunny is, his favourite game is Scrabble.)

A new member of my family arrived last Wednesday.
And I am proud aunty of a third nephew!
This monster is for Roman, who I’m looking forward to meeting this Wednesday…

One big bowlfull of organic french lavender.

A redundant pair of tights.

An obliging boyfriend with a new t-shirt.

A stray from the pack of monsters.
I been spending another hectic few days trying to come up with things for the art-fair… And I’m trying to use up some of my materials before I move house. So ended up making baskets full of lavender filled ‘wardrobe monsters’ and monster t-shirts.
Now my house smells like the Provence!
I think I may need to stitch these babies up fast and find an airtight container cause it’s really strong!
